Roseann E. Weisblatt earned her law degree at the Temple University School of Law in 1994,  Evening Division.  While attending law school Ms. Weisblatt worked full-time as a laboratory technologist in the Pathology Department of a large suburban hospital where she supervised the Cytology Laboratory.  She earned her B.S. in Cytotechnology from Jefferson University School of Allied Health Sciences in Philadelphia.

After earning her Juris Doctorate degree from Temple, Ms. Weisblatt began her legal career litigating medical malpractice cases on behalf of injured patients.  From there, she branched out into product liability cases representing classes of individuals who were injured by dangerous and defective drugs, the first case being the litigation concerning the diet drug FenPhen and Redux.

Ms. Weisblatt is admitted to the state bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  She has also been admitted to practice before the federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and has been admitted pro hac vice in the state and federal courts of CA, FL, MI, and NY. She has served as adjunct faculty in the Paralegal Studies Program at Manor Junior College teaching Tort Law and Legal Research and currently is affiliated with the Paralegal Extern Program at Manor.

Ms. Weisblatt has practiced for the past 18 years primarily as a litigator in other areas besides tort law.  For example, she is well-versed in handling contract disputes, both on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, real estate foreclosure litigation, and has successfully tried securities/investment fraud cases on behalf of defrauded investors.

Her pro bono work includes representing indigent clients through her affiliation with PhillyVIP- a non-profit organization where attorneys volunteer to represent individuals on various matters. She has also volunteered with the Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Diversion Pilot Program in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court representing borrowers who are behind in their mortgage payments to divert foreclosure and save their home through loan modification.  Non-litigation work includes small estate administration, real estate settlements, contract negotiation and review.
